Let go of people if you want to be successful

Ok, let’s rename this title by: Let go of toxic people if you want to reach your goals. Doesn’t seem better that way?

In our everyday life, we are surrounded by a variety of people, some of them we deal with on a daily basis and are a joy to be with which nurture and encourage us. But there will always be people who will lie, who will try to manipulate you, who will be negative, who will do you wrong and there is no good reason to keep them in your life and let them being your mood swings. Letting go and walking away is ACCEPTABLE. 

When you decide to work hard on reaching your goals, on becoming a better version of yourself, on feeling better and happier, letting go of toxic relationships is actually necessary. This is all about your OWN wellbeing, your OWN fulfilment, your OWN peace.

Please feed your environment by positive vibes and people who will lift you higher. Who you spend time with the most is who you will become. If you change your life influencers for the better, you can dramatically increase your chances for happiness and success. Their vibes, mindsets and beliefs will become your own as well as yours will become theirs so think about quality and not quantity.

Keep people in your life that will change it for the better.

Don’t wait, the time will never be just right

There is never a perfect time to take action, to launch your project, to spend time with people who matters the most, to write this book, to change your habits or to start a new job. Even if we keep thinking tomorrow will be THE one, it won’t. There is no secret. The right time is unlikely to ever happen.

Excuses feed your comfort zone. It’s easy to come up with excuses and justify not getting started. The longer you fill your head with it, the less time you have to take action. Do you realise many people live their entire lives without even stand up and stepping out? But is it what you want? Getting stuck in your pretty, simple and linear life? You’ve got ONE life. Why waste it by working for someone else’s dream, doing something you hate?

Now has never been a better time to realise your goals. Make your move now, take this step ahead today. Successful people are not born with a special skill set. They are just stubborn breed of visionaries who have decided that they want to take their destiny firmly in both hands and create the life they want. There is no Magic, only hard work.

The perfect time really is right now. It feels great knowing that life can and will change at any moment as long as you are willing to. What a better feeling than knowing you are in control of the person you want to be and the life you want to create. You no longer have to sit around waiting for life to pass you by searching for a time that will never be right. You have found the time for anything before, so why not finding the time NOW to reach your goals.

10 inspiring quotes

You probably realised it but I really like quotes and find them actually pretty helpful. Whether to boost myself when I’m feeling down or to feed my motivation a bit more again, quotes are here like a good and easy to impact your mood whenever you need.

Here are some of my favourites that I keep reading or sharing while I’m coaching:

  1. Surround yourself with people who push you to be your better self – if you want to succeed, be with successful people.
  2. Attract what you expect, reflect what you desire – reflect positivity and good things will come to you.
  3. Good things take time – if it was easy everyone will be doing it, so embrace the process and feel proud of having the courage to work for it.
  4. A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there – there is no secret, as long as you will stay in your comfort zone, nothing will change.
  5. Inhale the future, exhale the past – always move forward, let go of the past in order to grow.
  6. Always trust your gut – if it comes from your gut, you have the certitude this is the RIGHT thing to do, then go for it, please GO for it.

When times get tough, make a happy list

Reaching your goals is a daily hard work. I won’t tell you it’s going to be easy, but I can tell you how much it’s going to be worth it.

I hope after reading this new blogpost, you will feel better, brighter and stronger. I feel you, I’m in the same boat, and when I feel like this, I make sure to get out as soon as possible of this vicious and overwhelming zone.

A Happy list makes you feel better day by day and shows you how much you have enough reasons to be happy again and worry less.

Here are few things that boost my mood and bring me better vibes:

5 signs you are closer to your goals than you think

Let’s be honest, when working towards a goal bring to a point where you feel like giving up. Like hitting a wall, being on a plateau and feeling frustrated. You may even feel like your destination is out of reach. But actually, it might be closer than you think, and this is probably the best time for you to keep going and even harder.

Here are some signs that you are on the verge of reaching your goals:

  1. You’ve taken the first step – this is actually the main sign that you are closer to your goal! You decided to change, you decided to reach it!
  2. You keep your goals top of mind – You work hard for reaching them. By working hard, you are thinking of them a lot (probably too much), and what you think about most will come out on top soon.
  3. You are focused – The more focused you are the better. If your effort is concentrated on what matters then everything that doesn’t will no longer get in your way.
  4. You are actually more excited than when you started – because taking one more step ahead day by day makes you move from a simple idea to an actual reality, so don’t give up whereas you can see the light at the end of the tunnel that begins to shine brighter.
  5. And finally, you know why – You know the why being what you’re doing right now. You know the reason why you took this step ahead, why you keep having this feeling in your gut, why you have sparkles into your eyes when you talk about it. You know all these Why, so please do not stop now just because you feel like shit. You are actually one opportunity ahead to your main goal.

Bare in mind any goal worth achieving takes time to unfold into reality. Little steps and focused mindset are the keys to bring you that much closer to realising your dreams.

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.

5 tips to achieve a great work-life balance

There isn’t ONE solution to a good work-life balance that we should all stick to but it’s important that you find a way that works for you to keep going.

You don’t need to draw a strict line between your work and your personal life to achieve a good balance, this is not about building an impenetrable wall between both, but finding ways to connect and integrate the two.

Here are few tips that will help achieve a better work-life balance:

Leave work at work

No matter how dedicated you are to your job, when you finish, this is DONE. See it as an opportunity for you to take a moment to pause and look ahead to the time you have to yourself for the rest of the evening. Everything has its time, keep your energy for what matters after work done – You.

Be proactive

Key number one to have a better work-life balance is to be proactive and think ahead. Trying to multitask will mentally gain you and might result in you being less productive. Prioritise what is more important on specific days and thins where you can be more flexible on the other days. Think ahead and anticipate what’s need to be done first so you can focus on what matters and not spending energy and time on things that can be done later on. In that way, you will be able to manage your workload and not being as busy as you used to be. Doesn’t;t mean you work less, you will actually work smarter.

Create a daily routine 

Having a daily routine will keep you on track to achieve the balance you want. Setting strong habits will make you actually healthier and happier. Whether it’s sleeping eight hours, not checking emails for the first couple hours of the day, working out and meditating 15min first thing in the morning, these strong habits and established daily routine will reflect in your mental clarity, emotional capacity and relationships.

Make time for yourself

Following the previous tip, give yourself the opportunity to spend some on your own and focus on your needs. Because yes, you should prioritise the activities or hobbies that make you happy. Taking a walk in the park, going to the gym, taking a hot bath, enjoying a dinner with your friends… it can be anything as long as it makes you feel physically and mentally better.

Don’t be too hard on yourself

It is good to get yourself out of your comfort zone and improve where it needs to to have a better work-life balance, but changes won’t come overnight. Things take time, and this is a part of the process. You don’t have to be perfect all the time and get everything right quickly.

Work to live, don’t live to work.

These things you have to lose when you decide to change your life for the better

Changes can come in many forms and from different reasons in our lives. We all need THIS thing to take one step ahead and change our life for the better and truly believe this is the RIGHT thing to do. Even though, this is a tough step to take, know that how you cope with that change will have an impact on your future and for the best.

Here are few things you have to lose if you decide to change your life for the better:

  1. Your perfectionism – you need to forgive yourself and accept that sometimes you need to try several times before succeeding.
  2. Your negativity – think positive. Positive mindset = Positive outcome.
  3. Blaming other people for what is wrong in your life – what is happening comes only from your decisions.
  4. The need to always be right – you need learn, again and again.
  5. Relationships you were in for the wrong reasons – if you want a successful life be surrounded by successful people.
  6. Your excuses – you are responsible for your life, excuses are not allowed and stop complaining!
  7. Multi-tasking – being fully present and committed to one task is indispensable to be more productive and successful.
  8. The need to impress others – the only person you need to impress and be better is the one you were yesterday. This is it.
  9. Living your life to other people’s expectations – live for you, for your own life and for the person you want to be.
  10. Be impatient – good things take time. No need to be in a hurry.

Your life doesn’t get better by chance. It gets better by change.
