I do believe personal success is achievable for anyone who is resilient. Here are four key things you must integrate into your mindset to reach your goals and keep going no matter what.
Make sure to disconnect at least once a week.
Being focus on your things that need to be done is great, but this is the same way as fitness, we ALL need to get some rest. Mental health is as important as physical health and not getting some rest will bring more stress, fatigue and anxiety than you expect. And you do not need that.
Keep your eye on the goal.
Find a way to keep in mind the purpose of what you’re doing now. Why you’re working so hard? You do need to keep your eye on it so you can carry on and avoid that step where you want to give up because “whatever, anyway”. Nope, it doesn’t work like that, you didn’t work that hard to stop now.
Sit down with your struggles, make a list of the important things, put them in front of you and keep going!
Stay positive, focus on solutions not problems.
The truth is, yes you will probably fail at some point. Any kind of external or internal events will probably affect you and create stress. But keep thinking positively. Whatever problems or troubles you’re experiencing, admit them to yourself, accept the fact they’re happening and you can’t do anything about that. Take the advantage to LEARN and do it in a different and a better way.
Take a break, don’t quit.
Don’t believe all success happens tomorrow. Most of successes are 10 years in the making, we all need to be patient, so I am. Instead of looking at others, look inwards and be focused on what you’ve done so far. When you feel like giving up, calm down your fears, stop thinking about them just for a second. Do something that makes you happy, give yourself some time and be flexible with what you are doing because nothing is easy.
Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
